Polar Express

I think Landon's favorite thing this year has been the Polar Express!! Nick & I surprised Landon with train ride to the North Pole!

When we got there and he found out what we were doing he was SOOO excited to get on the train!!! He was beside himself!! It was awesome!

All the kids are dressed in their jammies and the they served hot chocolate and a cookie. Just like in the movie!

The book was read over the load speaker for all to hear and follow along!

Then we magically arrived at the North Pole!! Where Santa got on the train and gave all the boys and girls a special gift!

Then the train took us back to the train station! Landon still has not stopped talking about it!

That weekend we watched the movie and when the kids get to the North Pole Landon jumped up and down yelling "SANTA!!! IT'S SANTA!!! WE SAW HIM TOO!!!" It was so freakin' cute!

This was a new experience for all of us. None of us had ever seen the movie or read the book and we had the BEST time!!! We're definitely repeating this every chance we get!

House Lights

There are times when having a husband that has an eye for detail comes in handy!

Nick worked VERY hard on all these lights! He made sure that EVERY bulb was facing out and that they were perfectly aligned!

They are also set to music!! It's AMAZING!!

Sophia 1st Birthday

I can't believe Sophia is already a year old! Seems like just last month that I received a text from Josalyn on my way to work that Sophia was born!

And now she is a year old!!
