Halloween

Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday! I love seeing all the kiddos dressed up in their costumes!
We did our trick or treating in Aunt Stacey and Uncle Scott's neighborhood this year. I think trick or treating is much more fun with a group of kids!

Aunt Stacey & Landon

Landon & Uncle Scott

Aunt Stacey lives in a cul-de-sac and her neighbors were outside passing out candy and a group of kids and friends went trick or treating.

First we had to make our rounds to the grandparents homes to show off Robin!

This is about the last time the mask was worn. But he looks pretty dang cute!

Landon (Robin) and Gma (Witch)

We also stopped by Grandpa Bob's house too for some candy and to show off.

Our final stop was Aunt Stacey's house were the kiddos set out for their trick or treating.

This group of kids was so stinkin' cute! I think Rapunzel was my favorite! (She's wearing the purple dress in the photo above). She had no fear! When the other kids were too scared to knock on the door she was all over it! She went right up there knocked and would yell back at the kids to come get some candy!

Landon loves looking at all the neat cars Uncle Scott has in his garage.
Not really sure what is going on with this pose...hmm

The crib

Oh the nursery....  You may recall the post I did during the planning of our wedding where I introduced you to Princess Jayme, Frugal Jayme & DIY Jayme. Well, they are back....!

First of all the debate on whether to have a nursery or not started when we were trying to get pregnant. In the end we decided to go for the nursery. Mostly because I just really really want one! =D YEAH! Score 1 for Princess Jayme.

Now the second debate comes along. The crib...  DIY Jayme is just going to have to sit this (argument) discussion out. There are many things I am willing to make or attempt to make but a crib is NOT one of them.

This is the crib that I absolutely L.O.V.E.!

This is the Millbrook from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child. It's classic, made of iron and gender neutral. It's FABULOUS!!! It will definitely hold up to more children in the future and when we are done can resell it for decent price.
The downside to this crib is it comes with a $849 price tag! I've been trying to talk Frugal Jayme into this crib for months! I'm not sure it's going to happen.

My second favorite is this  crib...

This is the Joy crib from Bratt Decor. Still classic, made of iron and gender neutral. This crib comes with a $530 price tag. I figure if we have 2 more kids after this then it's like we spent $176 on each of them! And we can still resell it when we're done!

The last crib is this one...

The DaVinci Jenny Lind crib. It's available from Target. Made of wood (blah), gender neutral and the wheels can me removed. The price tag for this one is $149. This is also my least favorite but will work for the look I want. I don't think I'll be able to resell this one and not sure it will hold up to 3 kiddos.

I've been checking Craigslist for the first two everyday for the last 2-3 months and have found nothing. Such a bummer. I almost have Frugal Jayme talked into the second one...

What do you think? Expensive? Moderate? or Cheap?

Wild Wild West

This weekend I took Nick & Landon down to Tombstone. One weekend in October they hold their annual Hellderado weekend. Basically tons of people come down all dressed up and have reenactments in the street of the famous Shoot Out at the OK Corral.

Here is Landon with the Earp Boys

Landon & Nick ridin' in a buggy!

Landon roped his own bull!

Landon liked petting the horses.

While we were eating lunch a cowboy deputized Landon. He had to swear an oath to protect the town

and even got a BADGE!

And just to prove that I was actually there...

Creature Feature

Every year Sherri has a Halloween party and usually the costumes are top secret until party time! It's usually more fun that way to show up and see what creative costumes people have thought of.
This year we had...

Jaymi & Mark Jarman -- Gangsta Rappers

Corri & Janie Buckholtz --Golfers

Lori & David Renick -- Princess and the Pea (very cleaver-as usual!)

Lizeth & Spencer Jarman --Jasmine & Alladin (Lizeth MADE these costumes with her own two hands {and a sewing machine of course} AMAZING!)

Lauren Renick & Boyfriend Ryan --Lady Gaga & Rapper?

My Dad & Mom --Hippie & 50's Girl w/tatoos?

Mike & Lindsey Rassmussen --Army Guy & Hippie

Sherri & Scott Clements --Witch & Chick from Dogg the Bounty Hunter

Janie & Richard Campbell --Daisy & Donald Duck

And last but not least...
Nick & I --Chef & Bun in the Oven
-The ribbon is also the way we annonced the gender of the baby! Before this night friends and family didn't have a clue. They had open the "oven" to find out! Pink ribbon = GIRL!!!

Happy HALLOWEEN!!

Fall Festival

Landon had a "Fall Festival" (heaven forbid they call it a Halloween party!! It might offend someone!) at his school and he was VERY excited to go! He was able to dress up and see all his friends and teachers!

Each of the "classrooms" did a different activity. There was a Mad Scientist room, games, and crafts in other rooms and of course candy everywhere!  Landon had a great time and even jumped in the bounce house that was in the parking lot!!

Thanks Sunrise Preschool!

PS. So you're probably wondering why this is post has no pictures. Well, you see long story short... the day after this event they were accidently deleted from the memory card before I could upload them to the computer or this blog. I won't name names... NICK!  Shh! It was an accident and we're moving on. So there you have it.

It's the Great Pumpkin

It's that time of year again when we take a trip to the Pumpkin Patch!
This year the Jarmans, Kammeyers, & Stanleys were able to join us!!!

The boys decided to see who could ring the cow bell...
Mark Jarman

Nick
-Rob also did this but those pictures are "lost" (more on that in the next post)
-Jeremy wasn't there yet so he didn't have a chance to show off for the girls =D

The kids had tons of fun, climbing on trackers, pumping water for rubber duckie races, driving large tricycles, bounce houses, corn mazes and feeding & petting the animals.
But all that fun is lost. So, here are the family pics!
