Jude's Bday Party

This weekend was my nephew Jude's 2nd birthday!

 

My brother Scott works a lot and it not able to attend very many family events, it's good to see him! (Some time I don't always recognize him...)

 

Jude is very much into the movie Cars right now and will watch it 10 times a day if my sister will let him!!

 

Again Leia had to get into the gift action!

 

My parents got Jude this bike. At first he wanted nothing to do with it.

 

But once he got on they couldn't get him off!!

All in the Family (The Kinsells)

Half of my extended family lives in St George, Utah; but they came to Arizona for Thanksgiving so we made a trip to Nana & Papa's house for a visit. For some of them it is the first time they've met Leia and Landon.

I'm glad we were able to spend some time with family we hardly ever see. When I was a kid we spent every Christmas Eve at my Aunt Selma's house. It was always a huge party and tons of fun. I miss seeing this side of my family. I am thankful that my Grandma could see and hold Leia (even if she was a little cranky).

Let Us Give Thanks

The holidays are always a busy time and this year was no exception. We had three houses/families to visit this year!

 

First we stopped at the Johnson's. For years before and after Nick and got married we have spent Thanksgiving with the Johnson's. This year we could only stay for a few hours. We played games and talked about what we were thankful for.

The next stop was the Fernandez family. We had dinner and my Aunt Lynette and Grandma Kinsell met Leia for the first time. We ate dinner and the boys played some football in the backyard.

This weekend my nephew turned 1!!

I can't believe it! Seems like just yesterday that I was throwing a baby shower for my sister!

And of course Landon had to help too!

Baby Shower for Jude

In celebration of Carrie's up coming bundle of joy I threw a shower for her.

Jude received LOTS of homemade gifts all made with love!
